I was born in and raised in Essex County, NJ and served in the Army as a Military Payroll Specialist in Georgia, Germany, Kansas, Viet Nam and Fort Monmouth, NJ. I earned my Associates Degree in Accounting from Brookdale Community College in 1973. I attended California State University at Northridge on the G.I. Bill, earning a B.S. degree in Accounting in 1980; whereupon we moved back to New Jersey with our three kids and have been a Rumson residents ever since. I have been licensed as a Certified Public Accountant since 1984; and I have been a professional tax return preparer since 1979.
I have 40 years experience in Accounting with 30 years in Financial Systems Analysis and Computer Programming. I have worked in large companies including Johnson & Johnson, AT&T, Chase Bank and CitiBank; plus experience with local firms including Perkin-Elmer / Concurrent Computer Corp, Frequency Engineering Labs and Fort Monmouth. I continue to handle short consulting assignments, plus internet sales of used, collectable and rare books.
As an owner of a turn of the century home, I have used my interests in architecture and carpentry to help design and build two additions, plus many upgrades and repairs. I am also an amateur photographer, a Photoshop editor and lover of many kinds of music.
I am a member of the National Association of Realtors, New Jersey Association of Realtors, Monmouth County Association of Realtors and I am a new Grandfather.
